When opening the torrent with 2000+ files, the dialog window shows (it takes a
while though) and lets you select the destination folder, after that the
program slows down to the point of almost hanging (this doesn't happen with
normal torrents with 5 or 6 files) making it unusable. This bug was present in
previous versions of wine. The behavior in previous versions was that
periodically the program would start working for a couple of seconds, and then
hang for five minutes or so. In the last version, it was not tested if this
behavior was still present, but the program still hangs like in previous
versions.

Is this still an issue in current (1.7.18 or newer) wine?

Can you provide any legal torrent that has those abilities?

And can you proof that wine is slower in this than native windows?
