Summary: Excel 2003 does not properly display newline character in fields Product: Wine Version: 1.1.14 Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: mk144210@bcm.edu
So apparently alt-enter makes a newline character in an excel chart. This works fine when you are entering it, but then it displays as a square box (unknown character?) instead of a newline in Excel. In Windows running on Virtualbox it actually makes a new line.
