I would just like to confirm that as of today 7th June 2011, this is still an issue. Just tested it with Dreamweaver 8.0 and Wine V1.3.15.
DW installs fine and seems to work well with pretty much everything you ask of it until you resize or move the outer containing window, whereupon various components of the window are not repainted and you are left with a very broken looking screen. DW has not crashed and you can use Alt-F to get the File menu and close down gracefully. F5 does not redraw the whole window, just the preview area.
Workaround seems to be to just maximise DW as soon as it opens. As far as I have been able to test so far, this seems to prevent the problem - including Dan's reported 'New Site' bug of 2007-07-11.
Happy to perform any specific tests if it would help pin the bug down. This is so near being perfect.
