Summary: Wine breaks pressure sensitivity in Photoshop after upgrading toHardy. Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: jxjani@gmail.com
I had perfect pressure sensitivity in Photoshop under Kubuntu Gutsy 7.10 with wine 0.9.60.Then I upgraded my OS to Hardy Heron.And I lost all the pressure sensitivity.I tried compiling and also tried the repos. I tried changing some line no 623 in wintab.c before compiling also,according to a help I found which was for wine 0.9.56.
But nothing works.

Yes I get pressure sensitivity in Gimp.But not in any of the wine softwares.It was perfect under Gutsy.I had managed to get 0.9.60 working in Gutsy.I have a Bamboo tablet.And the upgrade was plain and simple,did version upgrade and added Kde4.
Thanks for responding.

--- Comment #3 from John Klehm xixsimplicityxix@gmail.com 2008-05-23 08:03:24 --- Can you report back if this still an issue?
I have a feeling that this bug was due to the IsExtensionPointer change which should be handled in wine now.
If this is still an issue can you do the following command from a terminal:
WINEDEBUG="+wintab32" wine pathtoyourphotoshop.exe &> photoshop_debug.log
where pathtoyourphotoshop.exe is the real install path. Then can you attach the log to this bug so I can try and figure out what is going wrong? Thanks! =)
