--- Comment #13 from Tom B tom@r.je --- I am still getting this issue in 6.0.
In addition the game sets the remaster resolution to 1080p (or less, I can't really tell) rather than the 4k graphics. This is likely the same problem: it detects low vram and forces the resolution down.
I'm on a Radeon VII with 16gb vram.

--- Comment #35 from Zel Uneec zculek@gmail.com --- I have this issue as well on Mint 20.3 (Cinnamon) with RX 460 2GB VRAM - Real Time Lighting greyed out and graphics blurry when compared to e.g. Debian with nVidia card or Windows 10 with the same (RX 460) card. The "blurry" thing is probably what Tom B already mentioned:
In addition the game sets the remaster resolution to 1080p (or less, I can't really tell) rather than the 4k graphics.
I've tried both opensource and proprietary AMD drivers, got same behavior.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46624
--- Comment #36 from Zel Uneec zculek@gmail.com --- Just to add that I had to go back to Wine 5.6 in order to get Real Time Lighting working again, and graphics being as it should (instead of blurry). I've also tried a few of the versions between 5.6 and 5.16, both staging and standard, but neither of them worked without any issues.

Working on my system:
I see that you are using Wayland as a display server:
Display: wayland server: X.org v: 1.20.14 with: Xwayland v: 22.1.9 compositor: gnome-shell v: 44.3 driver: gpu: i915 display-ID: 0
There was one other person that reported these things not working on X11, but working when he switched to Wayland:
https://www.reddit.com/r/wine_gaming/comments/t5hmmi/starcraft_remastered_lo...
So, seems this issue might only be affecting people using X11. Could this information perhaps be used to narrow down the issue?

--- Comment #40 from JMA jmadams1@gmail.com --- I'm seeing the same problem as well. I'm using X11 rather than wayland since Ubuntu Mate 22.04 doesn't yet support wayland. I can live without realtime lighting, but not the blurriness (rendering at a low resolution.) Starcraft Remastered doesn't seem to be seeing any of the details of the video card so assumes the absolute lowest capabilities. I have:

--- Comment #41 from Zel Uneec zculek@gmail.com --- Forgot to report that it doesn't have anything to do with Wayland or X11 - I managed to test with Wayland on Linux Mint and the issue is still there. It has something to do with Wine not properly recognizing GPUs and their capabilities.
