I am running the following software:

- Arch Linux
- Wine 1.5.5
- Editplus 3.41

When I try to connect to a machine via sftp, I get the error "Could not create
E value". Speaking to the developer, he said Editplus uses the Windows crypto
API.

As per this link below, Editplus including sftp should be working.

There is nothing written to the console if I run via the command line. I posted
in the forum at the link below and was suggested that I raise a defect. Please

I am also able to simulate this on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2 64b and Wine
1.2.3.

How do you access the sftp screen? Can you post steps to reproduce?

Sure, here are the steps:

1.) Launch Editplus.
2.) Go to File -> FTP -> FTP Settings
3.) Click Add and enter a valid SFTP server. Once done, click "Advanced
Options" to enable sftp.
4.) In the Directory tab on the left side (ALT+Shift+3 to show/hide it), in the
dropdown, select your sftp connection.
5.) A popup window comes up "Could not create e value".

This needs implementation for dssenh.dll in wine.
