After CAUTION message, RE:D Cherish! (trial) displays white screen and gets stuck before reaching the main menu.
This does not happen prior to Wine 9.4. After Bug 53613 was fixed, the program may have taken a different path.

This is due to the difference of MPEG splitter implementation. When connecting to the MPEG splitter filter, the internal source file filter, implemented in pal.dll, requires a file pointer at the end of the file.
