Summary: winecfg on wine 1.3.16 dont find the installed gecko file Product: Wine Version: 1.3.16 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: dyvazar@numericable.fr
on ubuntu natty i386, with packages of wine-team maverick ppa:
so are installed: - wine1.3.16-0ubuntu1~maverickppa1 - wine1.3-gecko 1.1.0-0ubuntu1~maverickppa3 - winetricks 0.0+20110312-0ubuntu1~ppa1 - ttf-symbol-replacement-wine1.3
but get this popup warning while running winecfg from menu:
wine have not found gecko package, which is necessary .... wine can automaticaly download and install it for you.
As i've not seen this warning with previous wine upgrades, i suppose this might be related to a typo or switch have not be made as now it use (changelog) gecko engine related to Firefox 4.
After this warning, few seconds later, winecfg panel is loaded as usual.
