stderr output of wine while trying to install

When attempting to install from the CD, the autorun screen launches and then
when clicking install it crashes.

Can you either run with WINEDEBUG=+dxdiag, or better yet, use a copy of wine
with debugging symbols, and attach the output?

Unfortunately I am unable to even get the autorun to launch as of 1.0. So I'm
unable to duplicate this bug again.  Nothing but garbage message dialogue boxes
when attempting to run setup.exe as per the instructions, or when running the
autorun.exe

I can't reproduce this--the install dialog boxes look fine on my system.
(openSUSE 10.3, Wine 1.1.0) 
Do dialog boxes for your other Wine programs look okay?

Yes, other common dialog boxes appear fine, at least in the few programs I have
that use them - It looks fine it ventrilo, notepad, and winefile.  Other
programs like Steam, Portal, HL2, WoW, Warcraft 3, etc, all have been behaving
excellently, but don't really have any dialogue boxes.  I will try again as
soon as 1.1.0 hits the wine.budgetdedicated.com repository.  I'll try to attach
screenshots of the 2 boxes I get.

nonsensical ok/cancel dialog box

Clicking ok will pop up another instance of this box, clicking cancel will show
box #2.

I just tried it on another computer I have that hasn't had anything installed
through wine on it, and it worked fine. Unfortunately I can't play it on that
particular computer, business and play need to be kept separate. Suggestions?

I would really not like to have to reinstall everything in wine again, although
it's looking like that is probably going to be the solution.
