Summary: ZBrush 4 stopped working after update to 1.3.18 Product: Wine Version: 1.3.18 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: markku.m.myllymaki@mbnet.fi
ZBrush 4.0 has worked fine with Wine until update to 1.3.18. Now it says "The program ZBrush.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close." etc. and quits.
For me this is major problem.

--- Comment #4 from Markku Myllymäki markku.m.myllymaki@mbnet.fi 2011-04-19 09:10:05 CDT --- I was doing regression, but found out that the problem was actually configuration.
env WINEDLLOVERRIDES="wintab32=n" to command line fixes the problem.
Why it worked without this variable before 1.3.18 I can't tell, but for me this solves the problem. I'll close this.

Using native is not a fix. Please try this patch.

--- Comment #7 from Markku Myllymäki markku.m.myllymaki@mbnet.fi 2011-04-19 10:15:58 CDT --- YES! I compiled master and tested. The patch worked without the env variable.
Cool! I did some reading and I think this could benefit even Photoshop users.
Thank you, all, fast work!
I suppose this will be closed when this patch is included in published version?
