[Bug 20052] New: Stronghold crashes on virt. desktop

Everytime i try to run Stronghold or Stronghold Crusader Extreme in a virtual
Desktop (wine /path/to/exe.exe so the config works) it crashes (see attached
link for console output), but when i start the game via a double click on the
exe (fullscreen) i can play without error messages.

What's content of the link you are "double-clicking" on? It's a text file so

not a link..... i go to the folder where the game installed and double click
the exe file. I can tell you its the cracked exe by myth for the Stronghold
Version 1.2

ive tried the options in the faq, and apart from navigating to the directory
and starting the game there with wine .exe, the problem persists. as soon as i
try to open the exe via wine start 'path/to/exe/.exe' the game crashes again.
using the "\" scheme and /Unix parameter produce the same result.

Please don't link yo external pastebins. Attach (as a plain text file DO NOT
paste) the terminal output here.

How did you configured the virtual desktop? Make sure Wine is not running.

I have since been able to launch stronghold in a virtual desktop, it seems
there really was only user incompetence involved here.
