3D Mark 2001 SE installed fine, but it fails to run with wine 1.3.22 and 1.2.3:
~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/MadOnion.com/3DMark2001 SE $ wine ./3DMark2001SE.exe err:module:attach_process_dlls "grphmfc.dll" failed to initialize, aborting err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\Program Files\MadOnion.com\3DMark2001 SE\3DMark2001SE.exe" failed, status e06d7363
It worked fine with an earlier version of wine, but I don't recall what the wine version was when I last ran it.

--- Comment #1 from Jeremy Huddleston jeremyhu@freedesktop.org 2011-06-14 23:53:32 CDT --- 3DMark 2000 runs fine with the same configuration.
I tried replacing 2001's DLLs with 200's DLLs, but it still failed to run.

--- Comment #2 from Rico kgbricola@web.de 2011-06-15 02:22:03 CDT --- Works fine here with 3DMark2001SE build 330 and wine 1.3.22+ on Fedora 15 64bit.
Manually copying files from one app to another is not a recommended way to get something working. You don't know what else you broke.
Could you try with a clean wine prefix? 3DMark should also run without installation (just for testing purposes) to see if you have the same problem in the new prefix? I recommend to install it in a new prefix and run it.
It would be nice if you could run a regression test (http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting) to identify the commit which broke it.

--- Comment #3 from Jeremy Huddleston jeremyhu@freedesktop.org 2011-06-15 10:24:54 CDT --- The problem was with the installation. The installation reported that it installed successfully, but there were actually GLX issues that were not caught. After installing a second time, the application launched successfully.
