That is epsxe fault not wines 
next time you want to disable epsxe first press esc and then file exit or the X
button on the epsxe menu

What is Epsxe? Download? Version? No console output --> NEEDINFO. Also 1.6 wine
in use we are currently already at 1.7.53.

There is no free way to test this bug with ePSXe version 1.9, only with 1.9.25
because it comes with a homemade PSX Bios.

Homebrew Game: http://psxdev.net/homebrew/files/20anniversary.zip

In order to test with 1.9 you have to download PSX bios files and put them in
the Bios\ folder. Then run the program and select File->Run PS-EXE and select
the main.psx file from the homebrew game. It will display a moving PSX logo
with some background sound.

In order to test with 1.9.25 just skip the config and then go to Config->Bios
and select HLE checkbox (homemade BIOS). Then run the game as in previous
description.

I cannot reproduce with 1.9.25 in wine 1.7.53 or wine 1.6, I didn't test with
1.9.
