Summary: Crysis 2 demo: keyboard presses are interrupted? Product: Wine Version: 1.3.14 Platform: x86 URL: http://www.gamershell.com/download_70372.shtml OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: austinenglish@gmail.com
Install the demo, and run it. Ignore the nasty flickering (bug 26283), create an account, login and join a match. Try holding 'w' to move forward. Your character will move forward, but constantly starts and stops moving. Terminal doesn't show anything related.
Additionally, the game seems to have bug 6971, but xinput2 patches didn't help. Haven't tried the registry hacks yet, but that's a different issue.

--- Comment #1 from zil zilforever@gmail.com 2011-03-26 05:50:44 CDT --- For me it works in demo and full game correct. I can hold 'w' key as much as i want and still move forward. Only bug 6971.
