By "shows a grey screen in DX12 mode" does this mean it plays without grey
screen when not DX12 mode?

Curious if also related to media foundation as for:
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56614 The Signifier (GOG) videos do not
play

Since this is a regression it suggests videos previously worked before
07b7975d09e8dfbdfc5a9942b4f0c9d054a5cd11.

Therefore #56614 is probably not related because media foundation seems to have
never supported playing videos like how The Signifier loads them.

Sorry for the double comment, but I should also mention that there were a few
recent regressions that currently make Man of Medan crash. They should be fixed
by https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/vkd3d/-/merge_requests/1781 and
https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/vkd3d/-/merge_requests/1786.
