Details from Program Error dialog box

App splash screen starts but freezes at "Initializing TemPer or TemPerHUM
sensor..." even if Shift key is held down during start (which is supposed to
prevent any attempt at auto connecting). Dialog box Program Error appears with
"The program APT.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close."

@Reporter of bug: try 'winetricks dotnet20', and the application should start

If you still run into troubles, report back please (also if it works)

Currently wine`s regasm.exe is effectively disabled as there is no fake dll
anymore.

Does that mean it will never be implemented? Then this is a WONTFIX????
Anyone know?

I'll wait for answer before resolving as dupe

Thank you for the quick response. It worked! I did try winetricks dotnet47
before submitting the bug and even though this installed a lot of other dotnet
versions, it didn't do dotnet20. I had to uninstall APT and re-install it after
installing dotnet20 as per the explanation in 47664.

I did do a search for "astro" in bugzilla before submitting this bug but forgot
to search for "apt" - sorry.

I also submitted an entry for the AppDB so that it might be easier for future
users to get it working.

You may close this bug - again thank you for your help!
