Rainbow Six Rogue Spear - installs and gameplay runs great, under os version
win 98, but the mouse pointer moves painfully slow during the briefing/mission
setup on one of my computers.

@GyB - Yes, it does happen with the demo as well. So now I have two separate
machines that have the problem (both have Ubuntu 11.10 GNU/Linux), and one that
doesn't have the problem (with Ubuntu 11.04). I think the wine version is older
on the machine where the problem doesn't exist.. I'll post the version on here
later.

So I looked at my other machine - it's running wine version 1.3.18 and the
cursor doesn't have the same problem.. the cursor is jumpy at times, and leaves
 momentary trace relics, but works better in wine version 1.3.18.

Sorry, I need to do the regression testing when I have some time. Although this
latest version of wine ( wine-1.4-rc2 ) doesn't seem to have the same issue.
I'll test it out on my other machines as well.

Please try the game with Wine-1.4 or newer to see if the problem persists for
you.
Mouse pointer moves smoothly during mission briefing with 1.4 and with
wine-1.4-143-g7b64983.
Wine-1.3.37 and older versions have the reported problem.
