I downloaded the installer from the listed URL.
Because I compiled Wine from source, I did not have wine-gecko, so I followed the directions from here: http://wiki.winehq.org/Gecko
After placing the .cab file in /usr/local/share/wine/gecko it no longer presented the dialog saying that I do not have Gecko installed.
However, installing the game still does not work. The error messages are attached.
This is with wine-1.3.0-166-g277040d

However, although the mirror client does install, the official downloader does not work. I'll rename the bug to reflect that.
The obvious workaround to this bug is to download from a mirror.

that downloaders/installer works fine here with the workarounds from bug 22152 (GC_DONT_GC=1), bug 24019 (FormatMessage doesn't have a message for WSAECONNREFUSED) and bug 24020 (vcrun2008).
$ GC_DONT_GC=1 wine ./WonderKing_080510_Downloader.exe
That WonderKing game installer is downloaded using Pando Media Booster and installs successfully afterwards.
So this is a dupe of one of these bugs.
