--- Comment #1 from Louis Lenders xerox.xerox2000x@gmail.com --- Created attachment 69730 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=69730 stub dll

Attached stub dll makes the installer complete and the application Hvm.exe is installed albeit I haven`t got a clue how to use it
wine Hvm.exe
The following commands are available:
add-instance - Adds an instance. update-instance - Updates an instance. delete-instance - Deletes an instance. start-instance - Starts an instance. stop-instance - Stops an instance. restart-instance - Restarts an instance. view-instances - Displays a list of instances.
Command options:
-name - Instance name. -url - URL Template. Example: http://+:8117/ -user - User account name to run the Web Service. Default: .\HvmService -password - User account password. -auth - Authentication Scheme: WEBFORM (default); NTLM -admin - Administrator user name: Domain\User. Valid for -auth NTLM. -dbpath - Database file path. Default: %LOCALAPPDATA%\HvManager[instanceName]\hvm.db
Usage:
add-instance -name -url [-user] [-password] [-auth] [-admin] [-dbpath] update-instance -name [-url] [-user] [-password] [-auth] [-admin] [-dbpath] restart-instance -name

--- Comment #3 from John the.ideals@gmail.com --- Successful install should open the default internet browser to localhost:8117.

Hvm.exe is a command prompt tool. We could try view-instances to see if anything is running. Though, I doubt it. At least the stub dll fixes this bug.

--- Comment #4 from Louis Lenders xerox.xerox2000x@gmail.com --- Hi, Installer is fixed by b918aa074bee3e9e0f8e491e49ad3095b535b690
For subsequent bugs one could open new bugreports
Current behaviour: the installer finishes and indeed my browser starts with address set to localhost:8117, where it says then that it`s unable to connect.
But that`s my linux browser, not sure how that`s supposed to interact with this Windows program...
