Summary: Installation crash Guild Wars Product: Wine Version: 1.1.23 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: northern.lights51@gmail.com
While starting the installation of Guild Wars in Wine version 1.1.23 it crash a few secons after the installation has begun and Guild Wars becomes uninstallable complete. I also had this problem in Wine version 1.1.22, and it seems to happen in both x32 and x64 bits versions of Linux.

--- Comment #1 from Hew McLachlan hew@ubuntu.com 2009-06-08 06:29:21 --- This has been heavily reported on AppDB. With 1.1.22 all the garbage test results and comments started coming in about this install problem (and bug 18675).

--- Comment #5 from Jamin Collins jcollins@asgardsrealm.net 2009-07-15 10:02:10 --- This appears to be a duplicate of bug 18675. Reverting the change isolated by that bug's regression testing results in being able to fully download and install Guild Wars.
