Steps to reproduce: 1) remove ~/.wine 2) winetricks gecko cc580 3) wine bitcomet_setup.exe do default installation 4) wine BitComet.exe 5) click e.g. on BitComet logo showed in attached image
Behaviour: I get window with "BitComet has encountered a problem [...]" and exits Expected behaviour: Bitcomet shouldn't show that window and shouldn't exit
In terminal I get this after clicking on BitComet logo.

I would like to confirm this bug. I didn't do anything with winetricks but clicking on the "StartPage" white screen I had causes the application to crash.

the crash log is very similar with wine 1.7.22 as 1.7.23
Also I have black background on many buttons, setting gdiplus didnt help.
I put wininet as native. Didnt do anything.
Then I installed wsh56js via winetricks and clicking the logo doesnt give a crash anymore.
Could you retest only installing that scriptlanguage via winetricks?

I am on a different computer now: openSUSE 12.3 with wine-1.7.25 installed. The installation works fine but now I am getting a crash. (Backtrace is attached)

You need to click the "Start page" to load the content which includes the logo.
Clicking the logo opens a browser.
No crash.
I would say this is fixed.
