Is this still an issue in 1.0-rc3?
Yes, Only it has now gotten worse. Instead of even starting gameplay, it crashes just moments after the intro slide show is over.
There was sound at first but it faded out into nothingness. The slides in the intro continued to move outward even though they where supposed to stop. I was unable to get a crash report because I need to reboot the system, there was no system response after the crash.
RC-3 definitely has issues with RE3

Same problem 1.1.11. The caracter is invisible until you enter into the inventory screen ( which is incorrectly drawn too ) and you exit that screen. Then the character is partially visible.
Running Debian Lenny x86. Video card is "01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS482 [Radeon Xpress 200M]" and im using the latest driver from ATI.
