Wine wrongly seeing gdi32 & user32 as native

It seems the function DisconnectNamedPipe is not defined anywhere in the headers?! Can this be the problem? Try to define it winbase.h (according to the documentation) and check what happens. Help me to resolve undefined reference

Hi, Thanks for the quick response. I did search the wine source code and found stubs for DisconnectNamedPipe and SetNamedPipeHandleState these two Win32 calls in dlls/kernel/sync.c. What is the purpose of this sync.c file. Is this file linked into Kernel32.dll? According to the Changelog in Wine relaese directory, the DisconnectNamedPipe was implemented on 2001-8-23. What does it mean when it says the function is implemented in the ChangeLog? These questions will help me to understand Wine community's practice and approach in resolving problems. server socket handling...

I'd like to ask a question about the wineserver socket handling... this is from server/sock.c --------------- /* if a network event is pending, signal the event object it is possible that FD_CONNECT or FD_ACCEPT network events has happened before a WSAEventSelect() was done on it. linking problem - can't find sane

Today I refreshed wine from CVS. The previous version was from the last week CVS. I tried to build and got a linking problem: gcc -shared -Wl,-Bsymbolic twain_32.spec.o capability.o ds_audio.o ds_ctrl.o ds_image.o dsm_ctrl.o twain32_main.o -o twain_32.dll.so -L../../dlls -L../../library -lwine -lsane -ldl -lnsl -ljpeg -lm -lm /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsane collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [twain_32.dll.so] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/mnt/buf/prj/wine/dlls/twain' make[1]: *** [twain/twain_32.dll.so] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/buf/prj/wine/dlls' make: *** [dlls] Error 2 I actually have the library installed: $ locate sane.so /usr/lib/libsane.so.1 /usr/lib/libsane.so.1.0.3 My environment - RedHat 7.1 with applied bugfixes and updates. Installed sane packages: $ rpm -q -a | grep sane sane-1.0.3-10.1 xsane-0.82-3.1 Note, config can't find sane.h. It does not exist on my system. fixme:bitblt:MaskBlt errors

Hello All, I am running a program that I have compiled with wxWindows, but when I run the application it comes up with one of the graphic images (background image) displayed, but then the other 3 images do not show up and I see an error message in my xterm: fixme:bitblt:MaskBlt (2144,50,50,53,61,2376,0,0,2256,0,0,-1429471200): stub fixme:bitblt:MaskBlt (2144,100,100,44,63,2380,0,0,2284,0,0,-1429471200): stub fixme:bitblt:MaskBlt (2144,150,150,53,53,2384,0,0,2312,0,0,-1429471200): stub I am using the latest release of wine, but not the CVS version. Has this been fixed yet or is someone working on it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Announcing CrossOver Office - official support for Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes

Hi everyone, I thought I'd let you guys know that today we have launched version 1.0 of our next product, which we are calling 'CrossOver Office'. Basically, we've tuned Wine so that it installs and runs Office and Notes very nicely, and we're selling that in a nice bundle. Since it's LGPL, the Wine code to do that will be coming back to Wine shortly. Please give us a bit of time; we're going to be overwhelmed here shortly, and I'd like to make sure that as the code comes into Wine, each developer gets proper credit for their work. I did want to extend an offer to everyone here, though. I'll cheerfully send any wine hacker a copy of both of our products for free (heck, we couldn't have done this without your help; taking your money wouldn't be right). Just email thanks(a)codeweavers.com and we'll send download instructions to wine hackers whose email we recognize. Finally, I wanted to dedicate this release to Aric Stewart, who has through some unfortunate circumstances not been credited for all of his hard work on Wine. Thanks, Aric - you made this possible. Hello All, I am going to be implementing this Maskblt function on my current version of Wine but have a general question about where it should go. I did a grep on the sources and found out where the "FIXME (bitblt::Maskblt....)" is located. Would the general solution proceedure for adding the routine be to simply replace the FIXME.... stuff with my routine? Windows LNK file format

Hello All, I am working with wine and want to develop a simple application that will read the Win85/98/2000 LNK files that are used to hold the application data for the desktop icons and url. does anyone have any information on these files, or has anyone done any work with some code to read/write these files?
