Need help with define(s)

Following Dan's advice I thought I would try my hand at putting together a regression test for RegSaveKey(A/W). Well I kind of run into a snag with that, actualy a couple of them. The first is that the counterpart for RegSaveKey is a stub. Oh well thats OK. I can still write the test and mark it as todo. No not really. My current problem is as follows: LONG RegRestoreKey( HKEY /hKey/, LPCTSTR /lpFile/, DWORD /dwFlags/ ); dwFlags can be one of the following constatants REG_FORCE_RESTORE (This value is not supported.on windows NT) REG_NO_LAZY_FLUSH REG_REFRESH_HIVE REG_WHOLE_HIVE_VOLATILE Wine does not have these defined anywhere. Does anyone know what they should be and where they should be defined? -- Tony Lambregts

id Return to castle wolfenstein - setup issue

Hi, I have the Linux binaries for this game, however when running the win32 installer under wine to get the pak files there were two errors, one fatal/recursive. wine ./setup.exe The setup keycode enter screen is displayed. There are 5 boxes, similar to ms-windows installation etc. However after entering 2 characters in the boxes (4 char size) it tabs to the next box. So I have to click back to enter the remaining 2 chars for the previous box etc. This happens on all boxes, the end box is 2 chars, and it auto tabs after 1 char! The error after I had clicked "next" was recursive: ReadFontTbl: missing "{" ReadFontTbl: missing "}" ReadFontTbl: missing "{" ReadFontTbl: missing "}" etc etc had to press ctrl+c to get out of it. Is this because the font metric table rebuilding was done incorrectly? or is it some other area of wine? I could not find the font table config, has anyone else experienced any of these two problems? I thought it might be because my locale is UTF-8, however en_GB also had both of these problems again. Cheers JG please cc me in any replies

Word 2000 Error

Since the latest Wine Release I have had the following error in Wine when opening a file. fixme:seh:EXC_RtlRaiseException call to unimplemented function wininet.dll.GetUrlCacheEntryInfoW This error causes Word to crash. If you never open the file dialog everything seems to work fine. I think a stub for this function would be good enough to get going, but I'm unsure how to add it. My setup: RedHat 8.0 wine release 20030219 and CVS (updated on 3/9 and still crashed) Wine no-windows setup. Apps I have installed and working Notes, WordPro (but these to can't run at the same time problem in windows/class.c) Word, Excel, Visio RoadRash QuickTime Acrobat Reader Kevin

HiI would like to use a win32 DLL in a native Linux application. I want to do this by using WINE. According to the documentation that comes with the DLL, a Windows program can load it with the following code (the names have been changed to protect the innocent -- me): HMODULE hDLL; FARPROC lpfnFunc1, lpfnFunc2; hDLL = LoadLibrary ("library.dll"); if (hDLL == (HMODULE) NULL) return ERROR; lpfnFunc1 = (LPAPPFUNC1) GetProcAddress (m_hDLL, "Function1"); lpfnFunc2 = (LPAPPFUNC2) GetProcAddress (m_hDLL, "Function2"); I created the following test program: #include <wine/wine/winbase.h> int main (int argc, const char *arvg[]) { HMODULE hDLL; hDLL = LoadLibrary ("library.dll"); if (hDLL == (HMODULE) NULL) return 1; else return 0; } When I try to build it, however, I get an "undefined reference to 'LoadLibraryA'".
