New metabugs

After opening the metabug for windows original progs I decided to do some more work on bugzilla but this time ordering insted of adding.... So I opened a metabug for games and pupolated it accordingly (also annonced it on wine-users(a)winehq.org). So no you can help fix games (or ignore them more easly). I am also thinking about opening a few more sticky metabugs like: regresion bugs site bugs fix-me/stub/unimplemented bugs application bugs and misc bugs This will get kind of a nice order to the bugs and allow you to track that ones that are of intrest to you..... Unhandled exceptions after XOver Office uninstall

I've just uninstalled Crossover Office with the .unintall script in /opt/cxoffice and now my other wine installation gives me unhandled exception errors when trying to start any application. My other installation worked just fine before I uninstalled Crossover Office and it works just fine on my workstation at home without Crossover so I believe that the Crossover uninstallation FUBAR'ed something on my workstation here. Folks, Whazzup with winehq.org? I get duplicated emails, and more importantly the latency on the wine-*(a)winehq.org mailing lists is measured in (many) hours instead of seconds. What gives? -- Dimi.

iphlpapi.dll implementation

Folks, in case anyone's looking, I've implemented most of the Get* functions of ip helper API included in Windows NT4 or Windows 98. I'm not planning to implement functions added in Win2K or XP at this time. Email me if interested. No, it's not vaporware, it's just not as well tested as I'd like. I'm hoping to tackle reducing code duplication in this DLL, wsock32, and netapi, and also remove wsock32's dependency on the UNIX socket includes. This has all been discussed before here in this thread: http://www.winehq.com/hypermail/wine-devel/2001/09/0042.html For interface enumeration and address (IP and MAC) getting, I use ioctls. This should aid portability (I've tested the ioctls on Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris). Stats I still read from /proc. All this stuff is in its own file to keep less-portable code together. NT Utilites under Wine

I have searched the news groups and haven't found anything on this subject yet. What I'm trying to do is run an NT utility called dumpel.exe under wine. The utility connects to an NT/2000 Server and dumps it's event log to a text file. I have some later processing I'm going to do with the file, but I can't get wine to run the app. Here is what I run: wine --dll advapi32=native --dll ntdll=native -- dumpel.exe -s \\\\GIGDC1 - d 14 -t -f gigdc1app.txt -l application The error I get is: err:module:import_dll No implementation for NTDLL.DLL.NtAccessCheckByTypeAndAuditAlarm imported from C:\windows\system \ADVAPI32.DLL, setting to 0xdeadbeef If I just display the help file on dumpel.exe it works fine, I think there's just something I'm missing. Any help is appreciated, TIA Josh
