loading windows DLL in a linux app

Hi! I have a third party library which is a Windows DLL. Is it possible to use Wine to call its functions under Linux? I tried a simple code #include <library.h> int main(int argc, char**argv) { HMODULE dll; dll = LoadLibrary("atouch32.dll"); return 0; } compiled successfully but runtime fails with "Segmentation fault". Perhaps I missed some initialization. I didn't found any examples of Wine API usage. Can anyone give me any clue? Thank you! David

If you're interested in continuing to work on MSI, I'd suggest asking James Hawkins for suggestions. If you're more interested in adding COM interfaces to things, perhaps implementing the iTextServices api to riched20 would be useful. Maarten got started on that, but I think it's not complete enough for say, Google Talk to function. Most useful of all might be for you to look at improving our COM implementation itself. Hi, the attached patch adds new editable combobox input 'Video Memory size' for Graphics/Direct3D tab of winecfg. I've tried to implement Frank's comments to English language only. Please consider this patch as a proposal, so if it gets positive review, I'll propagate the changes to all remaining language resources. May I kindly ask someone for the patch review? Regards Vit
