wine-staging wineodbc fix

Hello, I've noticed that the wine-staging wineodbc library fails to compile ever since it got introduced in commit 14f63f40e7c87dc87ca1dc64aaa66f344bada4da (but only for 32-bit) This is because the unixlib part of wineodbc requires linking to libodbc (which is rarely present on 32-bit) and because libodbc isn't present, there's a lot of missing symbols The Wine configure.ac does have some checks to prevent building of the whole odbc component if libodbc is missing (but that only works for odbc32, not wineodbc) To fix this issue, enable_odbc32 can be edited to enable_wineodbc in the configure.ac file (make sure to run autoreconf to actually include the fix in the configure script too) Thanks

Support for loongarch64 architecture

Hello Everyone: May I ask if there is any official support for the loongarch64 architecture in the future. I added the loongarch64 architecture code based on the wine-9.9, and currently, built-in programs such as regedit and notepad can be launched. How to add ICU support?

Hi all, I'm currently trying to get the current version of Logos (https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=771) running on Wine. One of the (many) problems is that newer versions of the app use the icu libraries that are part of newer versions of Windows (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/intl/international-componen… ). As far as I could gather, the source code for the icu libraries as shipped with Windows is at https://github.com/microsoft/icu (see especially https://github.com/microsoft/icu/tree/master/icu-patches/patches for the patches that are applied relative to the upstream icu library). What would be the best way to add ICU support to Wine? Best regards, Thomas

Implementing NtGetSystemInformation(SystemProcessorIdleInformation)

Hello, for the past couple of days I've been trying to get a program to run under wine, everything seems to function correctly except for a CPU stats window that errors every time it updates. After a few hours of debugging I traced it to NtGetSystemInformation and have been trying to write patches for wine to implement it. My only issue is that the program only uses certain parts of the output, and I'm not sure how to put together the structure for it, should I just name the unknown fields "ReservedX"? I'm also not 100% sure where to put the structure afterwards, since it doesn't seem to show up anywhere in MSDN (I may be using the wrong name, I assumed the structure name is just the enum name in title case like the ones that are documented). I apologize if I sent this to the wrong list, this is my first time contributing to wine and I'm still trying to figure things out. ~Niko

Missing macro in commctrl.h

Hi, is there a reason why this macro https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/commctrl/nf-commctrl-tr… is not defined in the wine version of commctrl.h? I currently try to compile windows sources with winegcc which need this macro. Kind Regards Michael

Proposal: changing the default bug status (from 'UNCONFIRMED' to 'NEW')

Howdy all, Currently, unprivileged users have their bugs set to 'UNCONFIRMED' by default (while privileged users have the option of 'UNCONFIRMED'/'NEW'/'ASSIGNED'). As a general rule, no one seems to care if a bug is confirmed ('NEW') or not. This often leads to confusion for users (for example recently, [1]), who think that because their bug is 'UNCONFIRMED', it won't get attention. Because this distinction is useless, I'd like to propose that we make a few changes to Bugzilla: * change the default status for newly submitted bugs to 'NEW' (here: https://bugs.winehq.org/editworkflow.cgi) * do a bulk status update of existing bugs from 'UNCONFIRMED' to 'NEW' * disable the 'UNCONFIRMED' status (here: https://bugs.winehq.org/editproducts.cgi?action=edit&product=Wine) Thoughts/concerns?
