I tried and got the same results for x64: offsetof(DDSURFACEDESC, ddsCaps) = 112 offsetof(DDSURFACEDESC, ddsCaps) + sizeof(DDSCAPS) = 116 sizeof(DDSURFACEDESC) = 120
