What I was hoping to do was to gather a bit more information about what 
is wrong first - for example, while I suspect COM, I cannot 
unequivicably say it IS COM, so I don't want to write a but against it 
when the bug might actually be, say, MSI.

Or worse, write a bug when the problem is that I have missed something 
in my setup.
