This doesn't sound right. Can you give some examples of that happening?
Sure. Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri uses sound.dll, which contains some convenience sound stuff. If I keep the default loadorder, "builtin","native", Wine tries to load sound.dll as builtin and fails, but does not try to treat the file as native.
