I'll assume you mean, if Linux is configured to use ALSA.

I think that can only be a bug in the Wine OSS driver. Remember ALSA is
backwards compatible with OSS, so changing which driver you use
shouldn't be a configuration problem.

I would query exactly what the "minor flags" were also.
