Windows uses three different automatically started debuggers: the visual C++ debugger for average programmers, windbg for superprogrammers, and Dr. Watson for users who just need a user-friendly crash handler. I think Mikolaj was simply trying to provide an implementation of the latter.
Does it really make sense to make one program serve both roles, given that Microsoft doesn't do it that way? - Dan
