AFAIU the votes are not meant to carry any information about how well an application works. Maybe you meant that about the regular rating?
Also I think the AppDB needs a maintainer's guide that would describe the tasks of a maintainer and an AppDB entry that could be used as a reference. For now I'd say that the Visual FoxPro entry could be used as a reference: http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?appId=296
My only nitpick with the FoxPro entry is that it should recommend using an application specific entry for the DLL Overrides (and show how to do that). That's because there's no garantee that all applications are going to work better with the native oleaut32.dll, etc.
