It wasn't on my TODO, I was just keeping track of the task.
Alexandre told me that Urlich had a patch about 2 years ago
(at WineConf 2004), and he was supposed to clean it up for
inclusion, but I guess that never happened.

Not sure what the status of that patch is at the moment.
