Resubmitting with the proper encoding this time, with thanks to Frank Richter. I also switched SUBLANG_PORTUGUESE_PORTUGAL to the more standard SUBLANG_PORTUGUESE to match all the other resource files.
Actualy http://wiki.winehq.org/Developers-Hints#head-ef42a958e4f633dbd4a0ae42649fa02... says quite the opposite. Target is to change the SUBLANG_$whatever to SUBLANG_NEUTRAL if all the sublanguages use the same translation.
Portuguese is a case where we very rarely have neutral translations. So for Portuguese it is better to use the specific sublanguage unless we know that the translation is neutral.
And default in Windows for portugese is SUBLANG_PORTUGUESE_BRAZILIAN and not SUBLANG_PORTUGUESE_PORTUGAL.
Right. But I'm not using SUBLANG_DEFAULT. And if you consult winnt.h you will see that SUBLANG_PORTUGUESE is the same as SUBLANG_PORTUGUESE_PORTUGAL, but that the latter is not defined in the PSDK and thus is best avoided.
