Based on my analysis of the unimplemented classes, the following could be a tentative timeline for the project:
May 23 – Jun 5: Test ostream and figure out its methods. Jun 6 – Jun 12: Implement ostream methods. Jun 13 – Jun 26: Test istream and figure out its methods. Midterm evaluation. Jun 27 – Jul 3: Implement istream methods. Jul 4 – Jul 17: Implement ostream-derived classes (ofstream, ostream_withassign, ostrstream). Jul 18 – Jul 31: Implement istream-derived classes (ifstream, istream_withassign, istrstream). Aug 1 – Aug 21: Implement iostream and its derived classes (fstream, strstream, stdiostream). Final evaluation.
If time permits I'd try to start sooner than May 23, but I can't guarantee it will be the case. Feel free to ask for any further clarification you may need.
