I would like to ask you if there is a way how to convert .dll library to the Linux .so library? This library contains simple functions (something like voice codec) "without any dependency" on the Windows operating system - it's "platform independet", but packed into the .dll.
I'm trying google, wine mailing list archives and I can't find anything about this issue. Do you think it's possible to do this or should I forgot and fight for the source code?
If your dll code is already C/C++ the easiest would be to create a new .so project (e.g. with KDevelop) and then copy/paste the dll functions to your .so project.
