Native winfile uses winfile.ini on win9x and this is mapped to the
registry in WinNT.
(IniFileMapping does not work in wine yet

Can we make the settings compatible?

You used a struct on the stack.
That Memory is not valid after the return.

Use a pointer to the your struct as Parameter: ...(windowOptions * opts)
