Pc speaker - using or emulate it

Hi, looking in DEVELOPERS-HINTS, I saw :
Other DLLs:

dlls/                   - Other system DLLs
implemented by Wine
<snip>
                sound/          - Sound on loudspeaker
(not sound card)

In dlls/, there is no more "sound" directory.
Is someone on work to use or emulate the PC speaker
with wine today or is it implemented somewhere else ?
