winedump spec dllname.dll -I/dit/to/headers -c -t -D

I used some tool a while ago that genereated a stub for me, but it's output said not to commit machine generated stubs.
Why? The name and the ordinal and for that matter the function type can't be protected by copyright. The tool presumably extracts unprotected facts nothing else.
I can dig up the name and the command line I used if you want.
I don't add new DLLs very often. However if its not to much effort it would be nice to know.
