There's nothing dangerous about it. Our philosophy has always been to only work on things that users actually need. If there are some limitations that users run into, we'll work on fixing them. If no one runs into them, it means they don't need to be fixed.
That's also why we don't wait for a new feature to be perfect before telling users to use it; because we don't need perfection, all we need is for it to address the users' needs. And the only way to know this is to have people use it and tell us what doesn't work for them.
