The CVS is fine where it is. SF also has some downtime, plus a limit on the number of concurrent anonymous users, plus there's only one person really commiting to our CVS.
As for the compile farm, I looked at it once, and IIRC, they have some older debian version for x86, plus a few others. No MDK, no RH.
