I believe ies4linux installs IE in a different WINEPREFIX to the 
default. Therefore, you either need to install IE without using 
ies4linux (preferable) or use "WINEPREFIX=~/.ies4linux wine ..." when 
installing your programs.

Given that the author of ies4linux is riding the wave of Wine's success, 
without giving any contributions back either financial or in code, many 
people here will be unlikely to help you if you have any difficulties in 
the former configuration.
