From memory, GPL allows you to charge for the cost of delivering the software (e.g. CD media, postage), but not the binaries themselves.
GPL allows you to skin a buyer for any amount you like. As long as you tell them where the source code is. They also do not need to give you the source. Only the buyers of the product.
