I don't know about wanting, but clearly your statistics will be indefinitely off without those, because the new states are in between the existing ones: UNCONFIRMED -> NEEDINFO -> NEW -> STAGED -> RESOLVED -> CLOSED.
It's probably just a matter of adding &bug_status=NEEDINFO&bug_status=STAGED after bug_status=NEW in your script. See attachment.
