I just sent a patch for the AppDB, and was told it didn't apply to Wine. That was never the intention, of course.
Perhaps it can ignore mails with [AppDB] in the subject line, or patches containing .php files?

Maybe there should be a separate appdb-patches mailing list. I've found it difficult to to find appdb patches based on the [AppDB] prefix since the appdb code uses that for other notification emails.

I agree, that would be a much better solution. :)

Chris
Would it be appropriate to have a separate website-patches as well?
Thanks, Scott Ritchie

Better yet:
wine-patches@winehq.org - for wine.git patches
wine-else@winehq.org - for AppDB/website/tools/documentation/bugzilla

IMHO there's it not enough traffic yet to warrant fragmenting it across multiple mailing lists.

As far as I know the AppDB does not send any email prefixed with '[AppDB]' to wine-patches. So finding AppDb patches in the wine-patches mail folder should be easy. Or do you mean that your email tool has trouble filtering on both wine-patches and [AppDB]? (I didn't try but I'd be surprised if procmail couldn't)
