Does anyone know of a problem with +relay?
I've never been able to use it effectively because turning it on crashes the program I am working on.
Anyway, I've just got an indication that either it is modifying arguments or damaging memory.
Is this a known issue? If so then what are the circumstances?

Usually this is because a spec file entry doesn't specify the right parameters. There is also a known issue with register functions that may cause exception handling to go slightly wrong. If it's neither of these you may have found a new bug <g>
