font error - sfnt2fnt/coue1255.fon

getting errors in wine 0.9.17 on solaris:
any tip appreciate

The following command caused the error:
cd fonts && make
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `fonts'

so I reconfigured --without-iconv and:

Report the problem to fontforge or to your distribution's iconv maintainer.

I think build fontforge with iconv is good practice, so we need report about 
iconv's behaviour.

I can't find Mac Roman too (with iconv from glibc 2.3.6):
