Thanks everybody for the very active feedback.
List of developers who contacted me: * Guy L. Albetelli - common controls * Robert 'Admiral' Coeyman - DOS * Huw Davies - TrueType support, printing, gdi * Francois Gouget - Winelib, Winemaker, headers, icmp * Dustin Navea - wine tools * Mike McCormack - file system, serial port, named pipes, SMB * Marcus Meissner - COM, OLE * Andreas Mohr - documentation, installers, memory handling * Andriy Palamarchuk - wine applications * Juergen Schmied - console, file open dialog
Developers who has not confirmed nor declined suggestion to own a component: * Alexandre Julliard - wineserver, kernel, IPC * Laurent Pinchart - copy protection * Dmitry Timoshkov - NLS, Unicode, keyboard I/O * Martin Wick - sockets
Still available components: * DDE * loader * msvcrt * x11drv * window handling
Some developers are interested by areas which are not components per se. For example - Andreas Mohr worked a lot on installers issues and would like installer bugs forwarded to him. The issue will be forwarded to a person who is the most interested in an issue. Everybody else is also welcome to give me your particular areas of interest even if they do not match component boundaries.
All the developers, QA engineers who is going to work with Bugzilla, please create an account and request privileges to change bugs status at bugs@codeweavers.com.
You do not need to subscribe to wine-bugs if you are not planning to work in the first line of the bugs hanlding (handling of bugs with status UNCONFIRMED).
Please, let me know if I missed anybody. Other comments are welcome too.

Right now there are only three of us [four if you count Marcus] doing triage on bugs. I have some comments and questions about various bugs and how to deal with them in a general nature. I don't want to clutter up wine devel with useless stuff but I think they should be talked about. Would it be better to have discussions of a general nature on wine bugs or on wine devel.
For example: There are several bugs that are specific examples of the general bug "SetActiveWindow does not support foreign processes" http://bugs.winehq.com/show_bug.cgi?id=475. Would it be better to mark them as duplicate or as depending on.

I think it is Ok to discuss Bugzilla-specific issues and bugs on wine-devel, because: 1) this is a very important part of development process. I do not want to create feeling that Bugzilla issues are lower priority than other development tasks. 2) I'm sure this is of interest of bigger audience than a few people you mentioned.

Thanks everybody for the very active feedback.
good to see that multimedia is considered to not need any activity. unless it has been declared useless
if needed, I can also take care of : - DDE (but I thought DDE was IPC, wasn't it) - winedbg and wineconsole
A+

Thank you for pointing this flaw. For some reason multimedia component dropped out from the last list. Eric, I think you are the best candidate to handle it. Do you want to take multimedia?

Yes, it is, but you still can take it.

Yes, it is, but you still can take it.
I think Alexandre can take care of it too... IMO, there's no need to have too many people on entries (and too many categories). depending on what has to be fixed, it might end up in my TODO list any how

And who is from this list responsible for opengl? Or which module covers that?
I'm not voluntering for it (do not misunderstand :), just there is that bug report on the wine-devel about opengl (with NewerWinter model viewer), and I would like to see it fixed. It seems like an easy thing (and the program can be freely downloaded), but I was lost in the opengl stuff...

Well, you can add me on that one. I planned to look at that bug report one of these days, but I was pretty busy with other projects :-)
And as long as we speak of graphics, you can add me to the DirectX component as I must be with Marcus the non-TransGaming guy who has the most knowledge in it :-)
