There's no reported bug, I noticed it while looking to see what
version we're currently reporting. I didn't think fixing an
inconsistency was considered a new feature, but it's fine to defer to
1.9 (given that there aren't any reported issues about it that I know
of).

It's not a new feature, but it can break things, so if there's no app
that needs it I'll defer it.
